Privacy Policy

How Dropora collects, uses and protects personal data under UK data protection law.

This policy explains how Dropora (“Dropora”, “we”, “us”) uses personal data when you visit this website, hold a reseller account or place orders. We act as data controller for reseller account data, and as a data processor for the end-customer delivery details you give us so that we can fulfil your orders.

Data we collect

  • Account details: name, business name, email address, phone number, business address and, if you provide them, your company number, VAT number and website.
  • Order details: products ordered, payment status and the delivery name, address and contact details of your customer.
  • Wallet records: deposits, payments, refunds and adjustments.
  • Integration data: if you connect a Shopify store, the store address and an access credential, stored in encrypted form.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and, with your consent, analytics data about how the site is used.

How we use it

  • To create and manage your reseller account (performance of a contract).
  • To process, fulfil and deliver orders, including sharing delivery details with couriers (performance of a contract).
  • To take payment and prevent fraud (contract and legitimate interests). Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store card numbers.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
  • To send service emails about your account and orders, and marketing emails only where you have agreed to receive them (consent).

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who need it to run this service, such as payment providers, couriers, email delivery and hosting providers, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is open and afterwards for the period required for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on this page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
