Getting started
Dropora is a trade-only wholesale supplier. You sell products to your own customers at your own price; we hold the stock and ship each order straight to your customer. Nothing is charged until you place an order.
- Register. Go to Become a Reseller and fill in your name, email address, a password and your business details. Registration is free and there are no monthly fees.
- Confirm your email address. We send a confirmation link straight away. Click it to activate your account. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder or use Send it again on your dashboard.
- Approval. We review every application and email you as soon as your account is approved. While you wait you can browse the catalogue and build lists; trade prices, ordering and integrations switch on at approval.
- Log in. Use Dashboard in the top right of any page. The overview shows your wallet balance, orders in progress, dispatched orders and quick actions.
Finding products and building lists
- Search by product name, SKU or category from the search box at the top of every page. Results update as you type.
- Stock is shown live on every product card and product page, so you can see what is available before you list it.
- Product pages show the trade price, the recommended retail price (RRP) where we have one, images, description, weight and dimensions — everything you need for your own listing.
- Add to List saves a product to one of your lists (for example “Spring range” or “eBay”). Lists live under My Lists in your dashboard.
- Export any list, or the whole catalogue, as CSV or Excel from the list page or Downloads & Exports. The file includes SKUs, descriptions, prices, stock, image links and weights, ready for your own store or marketplace.
- Lists are also what you push to a connected store — see Connecting your store.
Prices, VAT and your margin
- All trade prices on Dropora include 20% UK VAT. The price you see is the price you pay, plus delivery per order.
- The RRP is a suggestion only. You decide your own retail price; the difference between your price and our trade price plus delivery is your margin.
- Delivery is charged once per order to your customer’s address and is shown at checkout before you pay. Current services and times are on the Shipping page.
- Pricing tiers: higher-volume resellers may be moved to a tier with a discount on every trade price. Your current tier is shown on your dashboard overview.
Your wallet
Your wallet is a prepaid balance used to pay for orders — including orders imported from a connected store, uploaded by CSV or created through the API.
- Open Wallet in your dashboard and choose or type an amount under Add funds.
- You are taken to a secure payment page. Pay by debit or credit card (processed by Revolut; we never see your card details).
- The balance is credited the moment the payment is confirmed and you receive an email receipt.
- Transactions lists every movement — deposits, order payments, refunds and adjustments — and can be downloaded as CSV for your bookkeeping.
Refunds for wallet-paid orders are credited back to your wallet. If you prefer to pay for an individual order by card instead of from the wallet, you can choose that at checkout.
Placing an order for a customer
This is a dropship order: you order from us, we deliver to your customer.
- Find the product and click Add to cart (choose the variant first if the product has options).
- Go to Checkout. Your own billing details are filled in from your account.
- Under Deliver to my customer (dropship), enter your customer’s name, delivery address, phone number and email address exactly as they gave them to you. The phone number helps the courier; the email is used only for delivery notifications if the courier offers them.
- Tick Blind dispatch if the parcel must not carry Dropora branding, invoices or prices (recommended for most resellers — see below).
- Add your order reference — for example your own store’s order number — so you can match the order later. It appears on the order, in exports and in webhooks.
- Choose Dropora Wallet (or pay by card) and place the order. You receive a confirmation email and the order appears under Orders.
Order statuses: Pending payment (not paid yet) → Paid – processing → Awaiting fulfilment (in our picking queue) → Dispatched (on its way, tracking available) → Completed. Cancelled and Refunded are used if an order cannot be fulfilled; refunds go back to your wallet.
Bulk orders by CSV
If you have many orders at once, upload them in one file from Bulk Orders in your dashboard.
- Download the template from the Bulk Orders page. The columns are: order_reference, sku, quantity, customer_name, address_1, address_2, city, county, postcode, country, phone, email.
- Fill in one row per item. Rows that share the same order_reference and address become one order. Use the exact SKU shown on the product page; for a product with options, use the variant’s SKU.
- Use GB (or UK) as the country. We currently deliver to UK addresses.
- Upload and check the file. We validate every row and list any problems by row number — nothing is created until the whole file is valid.
- Review the summary (number of orders, items and the total including delivery), tick blind dispatch if you want it, and confirm. All orders are created and paid from your wallet in one go.
Tracking, delivery and blind shipping
- When we dispatch an order we email you the courier, tracking number and tracking link, and the same details appear on the order in your dashboard and in the orders CSV export. Pass them on to your customer or let a connected store do it automatically.
- Blind shipping means the parcel carries no Dropora branding, invoice or prices. Courier labels may show a return address. Your customer sees only your business.
- Delivery services and typical times are listed on the Shipping page. Orders cannot be changed once they have entered fulfilment, so please check the address carefully.
- Failed deliveries caused by an incorrect address may incur a re-delivery charge, which is why we ask for a phone number.
Returns and problems
- Our Returns page explains how returns, damaged items and missing parcels are handled.
- Contact us from Support in your dashboard and include the Dropora order number and, if you have it, your own reference. We reply by email.
- Approved refunds are credited to your wallet and appear in Transactions.
Connecting your store (integrations)
Open Integrations in your dashboard (approved accounts only). Connecting a store lets you push products from a list with your own retail price, keeps stock levels in sync automatically, brings paid orders back here for fulfilment and sends tracking back to the store when we dispatch. The Integrations page gives an overview; the steps for each platform are below.
- Connect the store with its own API keys (or, for eBay, by signing in at eBay). Credentials are stored encrypted and you can disconnect at any time.
- Check the settings: how new products are created (draft/hidden to review first, or live), how the retail price is calculated (trade price plus your markup, or our RRP), whether stock and prices stay in sync, and whether orders should import automatically.
- Push a list: choose one of your lists and click Push. Products are created in your store with images, variants, descriptions, stock and your retail price. Pushing again updates them instead of duplicating.
- Sell. Stock levels are refreshed every hour so you do not oversell. Prices are only updated if you switch price sync on.
- Import orders. Paid orders in your store that contain Dropora products appear on the orders tab with your customer’s address. Click Import & pay, or switch on automatic import (every 15 minutes) in the settings. Imported orders are paid from your wallet; if the balance is too low you are emailed and the order waits.
- Tracking goes back. When we dispatch, the order is marked fulfilled in your store with the courier and tracking number, so your customer is notified by your own store.
Shopify
- In your Shopify admin go to Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps and create an app called “Dropora”.
- Under Configure Admin API scopes tick: read_products, write_products, read_inventory, write_inventory, read_locations, read_orders, read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders. Save, then Install app.
- Reveal and copy the Admin API access token (Shopify shows it once).
- In Dropora open Integrations → Shopify, enter your store address (your-store.myshopify.com) and the token, and click Connect store. You can use the app’s client ID and secret instead if you prefer.
- Choose your stock location and whether new products are drafts or active, then push a list. Shopify orders appear on the Shopify orders tab; on dispatch we create the fulfilment in Shopify with the tracking number.
WooCommerce
- In your store’s admin go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API and click Add key. Description “Dropora”, your admin user, permissions Read/Write, then Generate API key.
- Copy the consumer key and consumer secret (WooCommerce shows them once).
- In Dropora open Integrations → WooCommerce, enter your store address (https://…), the key and the secret, and click Connect store. Your store needs “pretty” permalinks (anything other than Plain) for its API to be reachable.
- Matching categories are created in your store unless you turn that off. Products are created as drafts by default so you can review them.
- Orders with the status Processing (paid) are offered for import. When we dispatch, we add a customer-visible note with the tracking number and mark the order Completed (you can switch to “note only” in the settings).
BigCommerce
- In BigCommerce go to Settings → Store-level API accounts → Create API account (V2/V3 API token). Name it “Dropora” and tick Products: modify, Orders: modify and Information & settings: read-only.
- Copy the store hash (the part after /stores/ in the API path) and the access token.
- In Dropora open Integrations → BigCommerce, paste both and click Connect store.
- Push a list; new products are hidden until you make them visible, unless you choose “Live” in the settings. Prices are sent as amounts in pounds, so adjust your markup if your store uses another currency.
- Orders in Awaiting Fulfillment are offered for import. On dispatch we create a shipment in BigCommerce with the tracking number, which marks the order shipped.
eBay
- You need an eBay UK seller account with business policies set up (postage, payment and returns — Account → Business policies in eBay).
- In Dropora open Integrations → eBay and click Connect eBay. Sign in at eBay and allow Dropora to manage your listings, inventory and orders. We never see your eBay password.
- In the settings choose the business policies to use and a stock location (or let us create one from your business address — add it under Addresses first).
- Push a list. Items are listed live on eBay UK in the category eBay suggests from the title; quantities are kept in sync every hour.
- Paid eBay orders awaiting dispatch are offered for import. On dispatch we mark the order dispatched on eBay with the courier and tracking number.
- If the eBay card says Not available yet, the connection is still being enabled on our side. List with a CSV export or the product feed in the meantime and place the orders here.
Product feeds
A product feed is a private link to your products — with your trade prices, RRP, stock, images and descriptions — that another system fetches on a schedule. Open Integrations → Product feeds to copy the link for the full catalogue or for one of your lists, in CSV, JSON or XML. Use it for Linnworks and other order-management systems, listing tools, or a live Google Sheet. Anyone with the link can see your trade prices, so keep it private; Generate a new link cancels the old one. Feeds can be fetched up to 60 times an hour.
API and webhooks
For your own software or a developer. Under Integrations → API access create an API key (shown once) and use it to read products, prices and stock, create wallet-paid orders and check tracking; the endpoints and an example are on that page. Under Integrations → Webhooks add an https address and we send a signed JSON notification the moment an order is dispatched (with tracking), completed or cancelled, or when stock changes for a product you sell.
Account and security
- Update your business details under My Account and your business address under Addresses. The address is used on blind-shipping labels where a sender is required and for the eBay stock location.
- Forgotten password? Use Lost your password? on the login page; we email a reset link.
- Treat API keys, feed links and webhook secrets like passwords. Revoke a key or regenerate a feed link from the dashboard if it is ever exposed.
- Disconnecting a store stops syncing immediately; products already in the store are not removed.
- How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy; reseller-specific terms are in the Reseller Terms.
